Home Invasion

Police say a robber entered through the rear of the dwelling. He then tied up the 84-year-old woman who lives in the home, restraining her arms and legs with a belt and dog leash.

The suspect took money and fled through an alleyway.

"He had her tied up in the basement, and she untied herself and went up and yelled, 'Fire,'" said the victim's friend, Janet Cardinick.

The victim was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, thin build, wearing dark pants.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
