Fight between drivers on I-95 leads to shooting; victim drives to Delco gas station for help: Police

Police say the drivers pulled their vehicles over and began fighting.

PROSPECT PARK, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- An apparent case of road rage led to a shooting on I-95, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

It happened around 10 p.m. Sunday as two drivers traveled southbound on the highway near mile marker 12, the Philadelphia International Airport exit.

Police say the drivers pulled their vehicles over and began fighting.

During the fight, police say one driver pulled out a gun and shot the other.

Police say the shooting victim, described as a man in his 50s, then got back in his car and drove to a Sunoco gas station on the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue in Prospect Park where he called 911.

Arriving troopers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his backside. His condition has not been released.

The Action Cam showed a vehicle at the gas station with a damaged windshield.



There is no description of the shooter at this time.
