Man shot while sitting on front step in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the person who shot a man sitting on a front step of a home in West Philadelphia.

That victim was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

The shooting happened after 5a.m. Wednesday morning on the 6100 block of Pine Street.

The victim was shot in the arm.

Police are checking to see if the shooting was captured on nearby surveillance cameras.
