JENKINTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Manor College in Jenkintown, Montgomery County is debuting a new service for students.

Leaders cut the ribbon on a campus food pantry, called the bird feed.

It will offer non-perishable items to students in need.

The student government pushed the idea in the spring, and has seen their work come to life.

Panera Bread is helping out too, by donating leftover baked goods every week and Wawa gave a $500 dollar donation to help get the pantry started.
