Hollywood heavyweights say the movie-review site, where critics give the film a rotten or fresh tomato rating, is skewing audience perception ahead of a film's release.
Among some of the latest films blaming the rating service: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Baywatch.
Just this week, some studio insiders pitched withholding critic screenings until the premiere.
