Officials say a vehicle collided with a New Jersey Transit bus.
Victims were taken to Shore Memorial, Atlantic Care Mainland, and Atlantic Care City Division with non-life-threatening injuries.
The conditions of those in the car are unknown.
Neighbors who live nearby the scene said they heard the collision loud and clear.
"I ran outside to see what it was. I thought the train hit something because I heard the train go, and the train continued along. I looked over there, and I could see the cloud of dust," said neighbor Mark Marrone.
Marrone is also a volunteer fire fighter. He says he went up to the scene to see if he could help.

But there was little he could do for whoever was in the car.
"They had to cut them out of the car. It was really a high impact," said Marrone.
At this point there's no word from police on what exactly happened.
But Marrone says he's seen far too many accidents along that stretch of South Shore Road and says it's time for something to be done.
"I've been here since 1984, and there has probably been 20 major crashes on this bend. It's just a bad bend there, and people don't now where they're at," said Marrone..
