BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- In Camden County, some animals down on their luck are hopeful to find a better fate in our area.

The Camden County Animal Shelter is housing ten dogs displaced by Hurricanes Irma and Harvey.

The dogs, five from Florida and five from Texas, were all up for adoption at shelters there.

Those shelters are now desperately trying to house their animals elsewhere.

All of the dogs are now up for adoption at the shelter in Blackwood.

For more information about adoption, call (856) 401-1300 ext 102 or visit www.ccasnj.org.
