Plane makes emergency landing in Ocean County

EAGLESWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- A plane had to make an emergency landing in Eagleswood, Ocean County.

It happened shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of Laurel Hill Lane.

The plane, a Stinson single engine aircraft, came to rest in trees.

Action News is told the pilot was not seriously injured.

Nobody on the ground was hurt.

The Eagles Nest Airport is a short distance away from the scene, but it is not clear at this time if that is where the plane was heading.
