Pedestrian struck by car in Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- One person was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Police were called to the intersection of Route 38 and Chapel Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to Cooper University Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
