State of Emergency for New Jersey lifted

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Governor Chris Christie has announced that, effective 6 p.m. Tuesday, the state of emergency for New Jersey declared will be lifted.

State offices will reopen at their regular time Wednesday morning and maintain normal operating hours.

The state is urging drivers to check road conditions at 511nj.org.
