Truck fire causes delays on Route 42 in Gloucester Township, N.J.

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A truck fire caused delays on Route 42 in Gloucester Township.

It happened around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday on a ramp near Exit 44.

Video from Chopper 6 showed an industrial tanker truck that appeared to have been on fire.

Firefighting units were on the scene, and fire-retardant foam was visible on the ramp near the truck.

The ramp was completely closed.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Gloucester Township Police reported delays on Route 42 North near exit 44 as the cleanup work continued.
