Dover school principal accused of embezzlement

DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- A school principal from Dover, Delaware, now faces federal embezzlement charges.

A grand jury indicted 55-year-old Noel Rodriguez.

Prosecutors say Rodriguez took money from a federal program while he was principal at the Academy of Dover Charter School.

He allegedly took at least $5,000 meant to help students between 2011 and 2014.

Rodriguez faces up to 10 years in prison and three years probation.
