UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 27-year-old man is facing numerous traffic offenses and drug violations after crashing his car into a home in Upper Darby.

It started in Haverford Township Monday along Township Line Road.

The car pulled out onto the road without stopping, causing another driver to swerve to avoid an accident.

A Haverford Township Police officer happened to be in the area and saw the man drive out into traffic and started to follow.

Before the officer could turn on his lights and sirens the driver made a quick turn onto Old Lane Street, lost control and crashed into the side of a house.

The driver then ran off, but was quickly captured by the officer.

Marijuana was found inside the suspect's car.

No injuries have been reported.
