PECO worker among 4 shot after gunfire in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that injured a PECO employee and three other people in North Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

Gunfire erupted at N. Marshall and W. York streets just after 10 p.m., officials say.

PECO told Action News its employee was repairing a cross arm in the area when he was hit by stray bullets.

The 34-year-old man was hit in the lower part of his body. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Three other people were shot, including a 17-year-old male, a 33-year-old male and a 37-year-old male. All three are also in stable condition.

Police say the shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
