Wednesday, April 11, 2018
VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials posted an alert Wednesday for anyone in the area of Valley Forge National Historic Park.

Chopper 6 was overhead shortly after noon as crews conducted a controlled burn.

They are burning 150 acres of meadow as part of a strategy to help get rid of invasive species that have degraded some of the 1500 acres of meadows at the park.

The activity was scheduled to continue on Thursday as well.
