12 cats rescued from Delco home after owner dies

Thursday, July 27, 2017
MEDIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- Twelve cats were rescued from a home in Havertown, Delaware County Wednesday.

They had been living there all alone, in filthy conditions, after their owner unexpectedly died.

The cats were rescued by the Providence Animal Center in Media, and are now up for adoption.

But the addition of so many cats all at once means the center is now at capacity.

In an effort to make room, the center is offering discounts to adopt cats.

You can pick your own price on those over six months of age.

And kittens now are just 50 dollars.
