4 hurt in crash on NE Extension of Pennsylvania Turnpike

WORCESTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Four people were hurt in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Northeast Extension (I-476) in Worcester Township, Montgomery County.

It happened after 4 p.m. Saturday in snowy conditions in the southbound lanes near the Lansdale exit.

State police tell Action News the crash involved a tractor-trailer, a passenger car and an SUV.

Four people suffered injuries. One is listed in critical condition.

Traffic was down to one lane approaching the scene between the Lansdale exit and the mid-county interchange as police investigated and crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles.
