FALLS TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a major drug dealer in Bucks County is now off the streets.

Derron Thompson is accused of dealing a large amount of heroin in Falls and Bristol townships.

Detectives had been investigating him for the past four months and say undercover officers bought more than 70 bags of heroin from him.

In all, Thompson allegedly sold more than 1,400 bags of heroin per week.

Falls Township had more than a dozen overdoses, some deadly, in early December.
