The festivities Saturday night featured an A-list invited guest: Philadelphia's own Questlove.

Earlier in the week, the drummer and joint frontman for The Roots canceled. But shortly after, he said he would be there.
On Instagram, Questlove said he was able to reschedule his dentist emergency "much to the satisfaction of some ahem angry high schoolers lol."
But, there was almost another problem as Questlove said his DJ computer was not working prior to the prom.
However, he was able to fix it after six hours of surgery.
Following the prom, Questlove left a message for the high school students, "Hope you guys had a good time! Go out. Spread love and remember what I said: once in college, get to know 10 people who DO NOT LOOK like you do. Learn different cultures and background. Get to understand them and so on.... get home safe people."

On Friday, Questlove announced he would not be charging a fee for serving as celebrity DJ for the prom.
Questlove was not the only celebrity DJ at the prom.
One star of the reality hit 'Jersey Shore,' DJ Pauly D, also was on hand at the "Best Prom in America."
