Pedestrian dead after crash in Upper Darby, Pa.

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian did not survive after being struck by a vehicle in Delaware County.

Upper Darby Police were called to West Chester Pike near North Pennock Avenue before 11 p.m. Friday.

A victim whose identity has not been released was pronounced dead at the scene.

The striking vehicle was found nearby.

It was not immediately clear if police have located the driver, or if any charges will be filed.
