Man rescued after reported electric shocks at Birdsboro Power Plant

BIRDSBORO, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man was reportedly shocked during a workplace incident at a Berks County power plant.

First responders arrived at the Birdsboro Power Plant on Armorcast Road Thursday night.

Initial reports indicated a man was in a compartment when he was hit by a 22,000 volt line.

Emergency crews used a crane to rescue the victim.

Investigators have not given an update on his condition.
