Pennsylvania state trooper, woman injured in Bucks County crash

Authorities said a woman in her 60s crashed into the trooper's SUV.

BRISTOL, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A Pennsylvania state trooper was treated for minor injuries following a vehicle crash on Monday morning in Bristol, Bucks County.

The crash happened on Interstate 295 eastbound, near Route 413 at about 5 a.m.

State police say troopers responded to a disabled car when a BMW sedan rear-ended the state police SUV, causing the patrol vehicle to strike the disabled car.

One of the troopers jumped over the concrete barrier to avoid being hit and was treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the BMW, who is a woman in her 60s, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
