Saturday, July 21, 2018
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Northeast Philadelphia 7-11 overnight.

Police say the suspect entered the store on the 6800 block of Bustleton Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday and pointed a gun at the clerk demanding lottery scratch offs and money.

While the clerk was gathering the scratch-offs, the suspect decided he only wanted the cash from the register.

Police say the suspect reached over and grabbed $500 from the register, leaving his gun, and ran off.

Police say the gun was a toy replica of a semi-automatic handgun.
