Man shot steps away from his Frankford home

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A 35-year-old man was shot multiple times just steps away from his apartment door in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

It happened along the 1900 block of Fillmore Place around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officers found the victim in the courtyard area of his apartment.

Neighbors told police the man works in New Jersey and was just coming home.

The victim is in critical condition.
