Bat-wielding intruders steal safe from Logan apartment

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The search is on for two home invaders who stole a safe and cash in the Logan section of Philadelphia.

Police say the two men, armed with baseball bats, broke into an apartment above a corner mini market on the 1000 block of West Rockland Street around 1 a.m. Thursday.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
