Man shot at close range in Juniata Park

JUNIATA PARK (WPVI) -- A man is in very critical condition after being shot at close range in the back of the head in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia, police say.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday on the 3100 block of Hartville Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

Witnesses say the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
