Sound of Philly family says goodbye to two members

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Sound of Philadelphia family has lost two members.

Walter "Bunny" Sigler helped create that iconic Philly sound as a producer, background vocalist, and artist.

Jerry Ross is credited with discovering and mentoring Kenny Gamble early in his career.

Ross died Wednesday and Sigler died Friday morning.

Gamble and Huff released statements on both their deaths.

Sigler: "He was one of the most talented, creative, and great songwriters and music producers I have worked with."

And Ross - Gamble said he quote "was key to the beginning of the Gamble, Huff and Bell legacy."
