Partly submerged car pulled from boat ramp in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Chopper 6 HD was overhead as first responders pulled a car from the Delaware River in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police were called to what appeared to be Pleasant Hill Park in the 5900 block of Linden Avenue at 6:30 a.m. Monday.

They found a car partially submerged in the water at the end of a boat ramp.

Crews used a winch to pull the vehicle back up the ramp.

There was no immediate word if anyone was inside.

Philadelphia police are working to determine how the car ended up in the water.
