South Philly deli damaged in arson, suspect sought

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say an arsonist caused damage to the Famous 4th Street Delicatessen.

They released surveillance video of the man they believe is responsible.

He was trying to open car doors along the 700 block of South 4th street on Sunday, February 12.

A few minutes later, he was seen running from the opposite direction. A short time later, a fire broke out.

The flames caused damage to the front of the restaurant and melted phone lines.

You're asked to call police if you recognize the suspect.
