2 teens shot in North Philadelphia; arrest made

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have made an arrest in a shooting that left two teenagers wounded.

It happened at the intersection of North 9th Street and West Somerset Avenue in North Philadelphia around 11 p.m. Saturday.

Offices arrived to find a 17-year-old who had two gunshot wounds to the leg, and a 15-year-old with a graze wound to the abdomen.

Both were taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Police have taken one person into custody in connection with this shooting. He is expected to be charged.
