Pickup truck catches fire at Northeast Philadelphia gas station

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pickup truck burst into flames at a gas station in Northeast Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The fire happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Sunoco station at Welsh Road and Roosevelt Boulevard.

Chopper 6 was over the scene as firefighters continued to douse the flames. A plume of smoke could be seen rising from the truck.

There was no immediate word on any injuries.
