Parking argument leads to stabbing in Spring Garden, Philadelphia Police say

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- A 66-year-old man is clinging to life after he was brutally attacked in Philadelphia's Spring Garden section.

Police say the victim and another man argued after the victim double-parked at North 20th and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say the suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.

Two police officers were getting gas a block away, and heard the man's screams.

They ran over and took the suspect into custody.

The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition.
