Man, 27, shot and killed in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened at 2:20 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of South Felton Street.

Investigators say the 27-year-old victim staggered to the intersection of 62nd Street and Woodlawn Avenue and collapsed.

Arriving medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police are working to determine what led to the shooting.

There have been no arrests.

The shooting came after an unusually violent Easter weekend in the city, which saw two people killed and a dozen others injured by gun violence.
