Teen injured in Southwest Philadelphia shooting

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager injured in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of South 52nd Street.

There officers found a 16-year-shot in the leg.

According to police, the victim said that he was walking with his friend when two unknown black males approached them, pulled out black handguns, and demanded their belongings.

The males fired several shots at them and then fled south on 52nd Street.
