911 call leads to evacuation of apartments near Temple University; no threat found. Chopper 6 was over the scene on September 3, 2018.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police responded to an apartment building near Temple University on Monday evening following a 911 call.

According to authorities, the caller reported an armed threat inside the building around 7:30 p.m.

Officers evacuated the building and searched the area.

No threat was found.

Apartment residents have been allowed back inside the building.
