WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- Some quick-thinking Philadelphia police officers rescued a man from his car after he ran through a small creek that had flooded in the heavy rain.

Rescuers were called out to the Bala Golf Club located in the 2200 block of Monument Road around 6 a.m. Saturday.

That's where the driver of a car drove through a small creek and became stuck in the water.

The driver was forced to call 911 for help.

He wasn't hurt, but he was charged because he drove onto the golf course.
