Police say they were called to the 600 block of North 7th Street for reports of a person with a weapon.
Police arrived to find a 34-year-old man on the sidewalk, suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
He was rushed to Hahnemann Hospital, where he died from his wounds.
No arrests have been made.
