Suspect sought in Philadelphia Opera burglary in Center City

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for theft inside the Philadelphia Opera building in Center City.

It happened on October 25 at 1420 Locust Street.

Police say the suspect entered a suite after entering the building. He then rummaged through the offices.

According to police, he made off with a computer bag and $480 from one of the offices.

He fled in an unknown direction.

He's described as a Black male and 30 years-of-age. He was wearing a dark leather jacket, light blue denim Capri pants with a black and red stripe on the left thigh, and white Adidas sneakers with black stripes.
