Firefighters knock down flames in Spring Garden apartment building

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters quickly knocked down flames rising from an apartment building in Spring Garden.

Chopper 6 was overhead as crews were at work.

Flames could be seen coming from a third-floor unit around 11 p.m. Wednesday night.

The building is located on Pennsylvania Avenue near Spring Garden.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
