It happened around 3:41 p.m. on the 3900 block of N. 5th Street.
Police say a 50-year-old woman was found stabbed multiple times throughout her body on the first floor of the home.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the attack
No arrests have been made.
