Philadelphia teacher accused of taking bribes in exchange for better grades

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A teacher in North Philadelphia is under investigation for allegedly taking bribes in exchange for better grades.

The Philadelphia School District says it is aware of the allegations against Amanda Richardson.

She has been removed her from her job at the LINC High School pending the outcome of the probe.

The district said it is cooperating with police as they investigate the claims.
