Firefighter injured in vacant building blaze in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A stubborn blaze kept firefighters busy Friday night in West Philadelphia.

Flames attacked a large, vacant building at 55th and Haverford at 8 p.m.

It took more than an hour to bring under control.

One firefighter suffered injuries. No word on that person's condition.

No word on what sparked the blaze.
