Police say five people were shot in less than an hour on Monday night in separate shootings. The violence follows a weekend that left 35 people injured.

Germantown Avenue Shooting
Man shot multiple times in Hunting Park
A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the city's Hunting Park section.
He was found near Germantown and Hunting Park Avenues just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say the victim was lying on the road, just feet from a stolen SUV, that had a gun inside.
But police are not sure if it's connected to the shooting.
Witnesses are telling police they saw two men fire the shots and then drive away.
Double shooting
Police are investigating a double shooting on a basketball court near Temple University in North Philadelphia.
The gunfire erupted just before 11 p.m. Monday at 11th and Norris streets.
Police said more than two dozen people were on the court when the shooting happened.
Investigators said a 29-year-old man was shot twice in the chest and is critically wounded.
A 20-year-old man was grazed in the shoulder by a bullet and is hospitalized in stable condition.
Investigators found at least 17 shell casings at the scene and say two guns were used.
Triple shooting
Philadelphia police say three people were shot around 9:56 p.m. at 55th and Baltimore Avenue.
According to investigators, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the legs, a 20-year-old man was shot in the foot and an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg. All three victims are listed in stable condition.
York Street shooting

Police say around 9:33 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in the buttocks near Bancroft and York Street. He was transported to an area hospital where he's listed in stable condition.
65th Street shooting
Police say an 18-year-old man was shot one time in the back around 9:21 p.m. at 65th and Belmar streets. He's is currently listed in critical condition at the hospital.
Gun violence continues in Philadelphia
Greenway Avenue shooting
A 25-year-old man was shot in the face Monday afternoon on the 5300 block of Greenway Avenue, said police. He was transported to an area hospital where he's currently listed in stable condition.
Apsley Street shooting
Philadelphia police say two people were wounded in a shooting around 5:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Apsley Street.

Police say a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were both injured by gunfire. Both men are listed in stable condition.
52nd Street shooting
A 27-year-old man died after being shot multiple times near the intersection of South 52nd Street and Catharine Street around 9 p.m. The man was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Thompson Street shooting
Philadelphia police say two people were shot around 10 p.m. near 58th and Thompson Street in West Philadelphia. The conditions of both victims are unknown at this time.
No arrests have been made in connection with these shootings. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS.
As of Monday night, the homicide rate in Philadelphia is up approximately 30% over this time last year.
