2 convicted in 2011 triple murder in SW Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia jury convicted two men Wednesday in a heinous triple murder.

After an hour and a half of deliberations, they found both 35-year-old Ibrahim Muhammed and 35-year-old Nalik Scott guilty of killing corner store owner Porfirio Nunez, his wife Carmen, and sister-in-law Lina Sanchez.

It happened at Lorena's Grocery, located at 50th and Parrish in Southwest Philadelphia, back in September 2011.

Investigators say the men never even took anything during the robbery.

The break in the case came when surveillance video linked Muhammed and Scott to two other holdups.
