2 men killed, child and mother injured in quadruple shooting in Tioga-Nicetown

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two men are dead, and a child and mother injured, following a shooting in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown neighborhood.

Just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, 39th District officers responded to a shooting on the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located two adult male victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The first victim, a 26-year-old man, was found unresponsive with a head wound. He was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The second victim, a 29-year-old man, was located unresponsive on a nearby porch with a head wound. He was also transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.



Two additional victims were transported to Einstein Medical Center by private vehicle.

A 26-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm, and is listed in stable condition.

A seven-year-old girl, who was identified as the daughter of the female victim, suffered a graze wound to the scalp. She was transported to Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children, and is listed in stable condition.

The Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.

Police say no arrests have been made and no motive has been determined.
