PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Three people are facing serious felony charges after a drug bust in Northeast Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office announced the arrests on Friday.

Johan Manuel Almonte-Ortiz, 26; Argedys Noel De La Cruz Jerez, 33; and Domingo Cedeno-Pimentel, 37, are charged with felony drug trafficking, conspiracy, and related offenses.

Five kilos of fentanyl, with a street value of $2 million dollars, were seized.

Warrants were served this week at homes on Montague Street and Wellington Street, interrupting an active packaging operation.

Authorities say this investigation shut down a statewide trafficking pipeline.
