2 officers, 1 civilian injured in crash in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two police officers and a civilian were injured in a crash in North Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of North 20th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Officials say the two officers were injured after their patrol car collided with another vehicle.

Both officers were taken to Temple University Hospital and treated for minor leg injuries.

The driver of the other car was also injured and taken to the hospital. The person's condition is not known.



The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
