Police said two men were fatally shot around 11:30 p.m. along the 1100 block of West 9th Street.
Earlier that evening, at about 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a shootout between two people on Frank Young Avenue that left one man dead.
Not far from that scene, police found a car with bullet holes in its windshield.
No arrests have been made in connection with these shootings. The names of the victims have not been released.
"Our hearts do go out to the families who are grieving," said Lashira Council, the executive director of Chester Community Coalition.
Council said residents are worried about what may follow.
"Unaddressed grief results in more violence, and the concern is that there will be additional shooting events," she said.
The Chester Community Coalition works to support families affected by gun violence, offering traumahealing services and monetary resources for burial costs and immediate needs after a loss.
The latest shootings come as the Chester County Coalition prepares for its annual Stop the Violence walk on Saturday.
Organizers say the event will not end violence on its own, but they hope it will strengthen community connections and show solidarity among residents.
