It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on the 1300 block of Locust Street.
Police say the women got into an argument with a man.

The man then pulled out a box knife and cut them on the chest, arm and legs.
Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a dress.
Police say they are familiar with the attacker.
The women, both in their 20s, were taken to Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition.
