Philadelphia Marathon and Half Marathon sell out months ahead of race weekend

PHILAELPHIA (WPVI) -- This year's Philadelphia Marathon and Half Marathon are already a smashing success - three months before race weekend.

Organizers announced Wednesday that both races have officially sold out, marking the earliest sellout in the event's 32-year history.

There will be 37,000 participants.

Philadelphia Marathon Weekend runs from Nov. 21 through Nov. 23.
